Pulsed-dye lasers emit visible light that is mainly absorbed by the blood cells, which eventually helps to treat acne vulgaris and its scars. The treatment is delivered via very thin needles that enter the skin and deliver the pulsed laser beam deep into the skin. This is a most effective way to heat and disable the sebaceous glands in the skin, hence decreasing oil production and the resultant pimples. It not only shows great effects on acne but also causes an amazing improvement in acne scars.

Is it really beneficial?

The treatment not only helps improve acne but also help prevent these areas from forming scars too.
